PostMon Oct 07, 2013 1:51 am

What is the deal here, I have plenty on Nikon F mount lens's I use with my BMCC but I have a BMPCC and would like to get some wide lenses for this, what is the actual difference in crop factor?

The Pocket has more of a crop than the BMCC.

I also have nikon lens and use them with the BMPCC and the widest i've seen from nikon is an 8mm but I think a valuable solution which I plan on doing in a few weeks is purchase a tokina 11-16 f2.8 and speed booster and it will give you a very good focal length.

Or you could wait for the Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 for nikon with speed booster and will give you some additional reach. I plan on getting both lens and speed booster

Pocket crop: 2.88
Tokina w/booster: 22.49 - 32.71mm f1.4
Sigma w/booster: 36.80 - 71.56mm f1.2

BMCC crop: 2.3
Tokina w/booster: 17.96 - 26.12mm f1.4
Sigma w/booster: 29.39 - 57.15mm f1.2

Hope this helps
