Camera Resolution

Hi

I am a user of a Blackmagic camera, and have been facing some issues with the camera during Live Production. From the picture, I am unable to select a ProRes setting format because the camera always defaults to the BlackMagic RAW format when I plug in the HDMI cable for Live streaming.

May I know what could be the cause of this issue?

Only certain resolutions are supported in prores. Clearly laid out in the manual :)

if you are using an ATEM mini xxx, then only BRAW is available as a recording format.
workaround is to hang a HDMI splitter between them.

but you lose all camera controls

One of the weird gotchas that I like better about the 4K. Any res, any codec, any time. :)

Wrong horse. While connected to the Mini only Braw recording is suported unless camera control is stripped from the CEC return channel. I suspect the portion of the FPGA that would be handling the Prores encoding is now repurposed as the real time color corrector.

Good Luck
