I was told there would be a delay due to some technical issues and that shipping was delayed in order to address this issue. July 22, 2013? I ordered on the day the camera was announced and still haven't received it. Your vendor should really have done more to manage your expectations. But rest assured; many of us feel your pain.

Make sure you send that message as an e-mail directly to BMD customer support rather then simply posting it to a discussion board.

Come on, guys. If he wanted to be taken seriously, he wouldn't have chosen a nonsens signature. DFTT.

The initial shipping of the Pocket Cinema Camera was delayed but the camera is now shipping and we are working through our substantial list of backorders. Quantities are increasing and we are clearing these orders as quickly as possible. I can not give specific delivery dates for your order, but your reseller may be able to assist you with this and give you an estimated time of delivery, based on when they placed their order with our distributor in Eastern Europe.

I do not know if this is related to my letter.

I walked into a local retailer a week and a half ago and bought a BMPCC... just like that, no ordering. The salesman, who knows me, asked if I was interested lol and I couldn't resist .

ordered mine Oct ith and got it Oct 11th. Not really BMD issue. Guessing you ordered from B&H?
