Full screen BMPCC4k on a pc monitor?

PostMon Apr 19, 2021 11:07 pm

Is it possible to take a feed from the BMPCC4k into a stndard 1920x1080 pc monitor? I have tried using hdmi direct...no. Tried connecting through a updowncross hd converter..no, tried through the ultrastudio micro and nothing. The monitor is constantly saying the resolution is wrong at the use 1920x1080 60hz...but i have no idea how to get any of my kit to output that...im assuming its not really the same as broadcast tv signals.

I am only wanting to use a monitor for easier viewing whilst setting up shots in the studio...easier for old eyes on a larger screen!

Thanks
Adam

I think the output is 10 bit so you need a monitor that supports that.

the hdmi output results from the native frame rate.
that is, if you record at 24fps, 1080p24 will come out of the HDMI output.
with a projectrate of 30fps then 1080p30. aso
