Pocket Camera: Did my power button collapse already?

Hey guys,

Just bought a brand new Black Magic Pocket Camera for the very first time. I have literally used this camera for less than 30 minutes and it appears that the power button has collapsed already? It still works but now it is VERY recessed and more difficult to press than the other major buttons on the back of the camera. See images here:

I'm posting here because I need your help: do I have a defective unit? Or do all your power buttons just look like this (i.e. significantly recessed compared to the other buttons). Thanks in advance!

Don't you worry that is the way it is supposed to be.
I think they made it that way so you don't accidentally press the button while handling the camera.

Could you tell me which external monitor you use with the BMPCC.

I'm sort of looking for the cheaper one that would work with it since my current monitor won't work for some reason.

Thanks

That is a relief! Thanks for the response, townio.

I do not currently use an external monitor yet, but I could really use one. LOVE the image this camera produces but I do find it really difficult to use the matte screen.

I'm now getting reports that this is not normal. Can any of you just quickly check your Black Magic Pocket devices and let me know if yours matches mine? Would greatly appreciate it. THanks!

Normal.

My guess too,
So you don't accidentally power down.
