12 SDI assist 5'

I'm getting a codec not supported error when trying to record raw on the Video Assist from my Panasonic S1H. Can someone direct me to some documentation on how to resolve this? I'm trying over HDMI, is this not possible over HDMI?

The Video Assist can record codecs such as 1080p, not 1080i, for example so you might have a mismatch.

The VA 12 G can record Blackmagic RAW recording from popular cameras such as Sigma fp, Panasonic EVA1 and Lumix S1H, Nikon Z models and Canon C300 MK II. The VA needs the firmware update to support the camera being used, and the camera needs its firmware update tp allow recording Raw on the VA. Cameras like the SH1 and Nikon Z6/7 can record BRaw over HDMI. Check to see you have the appropriate FW updates installed.
