No IS switch for P6K?

PostThu Apr 29, 2021 5:00 pm

Not that this is a big deal or anything but I thought there was a switch to turn on and off IS in the menu of the P6K. It's still there in the P4K and greyed out when using a non native lens. I just picked up a EFS IS lens and was looking for the internal switch and didn't find it.

All EF lenses, including EFS have external switches to engage IS, therefore the menu option is not needed on the 6k. Select MFT lenses have no switch and need to be activated via the menu, hence its only on the 4K. This information is in the manual :)

Yes that makes sense thanks! i thought I was hallucinating haha. I bought a second-hand efs lens this morning and got a little freaked out when I slapped it on I didn't see it in the menu.....,
