BMPCC - Monitor Out of Range

Hello Guys,

I purchased a Micro HDMI to VGA adapter as I was hoping I can have a live view on the VGA monitor. However I tried with many different monitors and all of them are not able to play. There's a message on the screen "Out of Range", which is the resolution is too high to be played on the monitor. Does anyone know what is the output of the Micro HDMI from the BMPCC? Or does anyone know how can I fix this issue? Thanks

The output is 1920x1080 but isn't analog so you won't be able to see the signal through an adapter. You'll need a monitor/TV that supports HDMI at 1080p.

I have the same problem on my monitor with a dvi to micro HDMI cable. Unfortunately my monitor only supports 1080i.

The big sister BMCC 2k5 can output interlaced video when frame rate is set to 1080p25 or 1080p29.97 and overlays are turned off. Maybe the same works for the Pocket Cam as well?
