SD card for BRaw 8:1 4K?

I see that the recommended media list has cards for 12:1 but not for any lower compression ratios. Do such cards exist? I sort of assume they must since they list cards for lossless CDNG.

I've recorded DCI 4k 30 fps BRAW 8:1 on :
- Sandisk Extreme Pro 128G
- Kingston canvas go plus 256G

(Actually I've done up to 5:1 with both of them for > 6 min without drops. Didn't try longer shots).

YMMV ... as you stated, neither is certified by BMD for this.

Good to know. In theory the higher capacity Sandisk cards should work right? As long as they're the same class / MB/s rate?

Heh ... hard to say.

Think is those card are only "V30" class and perform way above that ... so other architecture of underlying storage chips could have different performance and still meet their V30 rating but with less margin.

I'm able to get 8:1 4K DCI 24fps on the SanDisk Extreme Pro 128Gb 170MB/s SDHC cards with no issues.
