I am tempted to buy a PCC6K Pro now, but already spent so much money on additional lights and gimbal plus Tilta float...
Saying "Thx for help!" is not a crime.

Haha! I bought mine on credit. Gonna sell the Pocket 6K, however. I'm sure it will pay for itself. However, I still prefer the UMPG2. My main use of the Pocket 6K will be a lighter camera I can use in a smaller package for lower budget clientele.

But definitely agree that spending more money on lights is always a good thing.

Robert, are you happy with the Float? Received mine yesterday from B&H along with the Hydra Alien, but had no courage to start assembling the beasts.

Pre-ordered a Smallrig but it does not accommodate a battery grip. Think I will cancel the Smallrig and go for the Tilta.

No rush. Lockdown in the UK only starting to ease and would take another few months before anything resembling normality filming wise.

Kondor Blue today announced their new product 6k pro cage, but the color design and overall design is unpleasant for me. But maybe for someone it will be a great choice between smallrig and tilta cages.

I told myself, No Cages for the 6k Pro, but that Tilta looks really nice.

Honestly with the battery grip, and an SSD mount on top, you really don't need much else. The only thing I'd love is a top mount handle for those lower slung angles & a mic mount.

Olivier, I haven’t received mine yet and do not have an estimated delivery date.
So atm I’ve nothing to say about it, unfortunately.

Re: 6k pro TILTA cage system

received my paperweight from Tilta a few weeks ago. Despite asking for a T5 SSD holder I received a T7 ssd holder. Maybe an honest mistake but you have to ask, why does Tilta even supply the T7 holder as standard when we have known since early May that the T7 drives don't work? I am still waiting for my T5 holder and without one, this cage is nothing more than a paperweight. Tilta knew this information as I informed them at the time this cage was announced that T7 drives were not supported but they continue to send these kits out with T7 drive holders.
Also be aware that while all the photos on Tiltas site show a nice short usbc cable, that is not what you will receive. You will get a usbc cable that is too long leaving a spaghetti mess of cables.
Lastly, also be aware that if you plan on mounting your own tripod plate to the bottom of the cage, there is only a single 1/4 20 thread in line with the lens so your plate will twist in use especially considering there is very little material for the tripod plate to grip to. SmallRig managed to fit two threads so you can mount two screws to your plate completely resolving this problem.
Bad design, worse customer service.
Avoid!

Nope, the T5 is thicker than the T7 so doesn't fit in the T7 holder.

ok, you are right

The T5 is actually 3mm thicker. As well as longer in every other dimension.
