PCC4k: true Rec. 709

Hi,
I did not find any LUT yet resulting in a true Rec.709 color reproduction.

Compared to high end DSLRs (sRGB), PCC4k looks pretty poor. Measurements done with ColorChecker and Imatest software. Color "Science" 4. Saturated reds have a tendency to orange.
(sRGB uses the same primaries and whitepoint as Rec.709)

Origami LUTs do quite a good job, but saturated blue colors are still a problem.

I don't think there can be an accurate transform from G5 to 709 because of the compression but G4 should get there pretty easily. What are you working with?

Howard, I am on G4, just downgraded fom 7.3 for other reasons.

G5 will be even worse?

Frank, I'm really happy with GEN 5 and the "Video" Decode Option in BRAW or REC 709 - REC 709 when needed. The Blackmagic Video decode has more dynamic range than 709.

What's wrong with the BM transforms? They seem to be working. Post a Braw and describe the setup.
