Rode Wireless go 2 UMPG2

Hoping someone can help me. I’ve just bought the rode wireless go system, one Reciever with 2 mics sending audio on individual channels to the Reciever. However, when connecting to my umpg2, I can’t get the second mic to work and the first mic outputs a stereo signal dispute the source being mono. I have my ump set to xlr1 input. The second mic doesn’t connect at all but it’s routed through the second channel of the Reciever. It works if I combine the 2 mics into a mixed stereo signal though.

Anyone had any luck getting both mics on separate channels into the umpg2?
