Morning all!

Due to my impatience I have two BMPCC's on route to me this week and am happy to let one go for £800 plus probably around £15-£20 recorded next day delivery..if anyone is interested please pm me.

I'd buy it Lee The problem is if you needed to return it to the shop as it seems so many people are having problems and need to. I guess the best option for me is to wait.

No probs. I believe any defect with the camera is covered by blackmagic themselves however who will get you to fill out an RMA to get the camera sent back, checked and then replaced if required.

I believe whoever register the product under their name at the site becomes the owner for the camera... I mean, people do buy cameras as gifts too.

I am happy to not register the camera and leave that to the buyer...anyway, the box will be sealed and unopened anyway so i will not have access to the camera info to register it regardless.

There was an argument that if you bought a camera from another country then retail outlets in your own would not accept returns. Last thing I would want is to end up with a camera with bad pixels wonky mount hdmi broken or any of the other problems many are sending there cameras back for.
We have consumer rights in this country that means you can get your money back on a defective product. Most of those rights would be gone.

I think that maybe the case if you were trying to return an item to a local store...not sure how Blackmagic work though in terms of supporting a camera that you bought abroad and then is required to get fixed/returned to your local service center

Another user on here has confirmed that they bought their bmpcc from the US which had dead pixels on arrival.

They got their camera successfully replaced through the UK service center as apparently the warranty is an international one.

global warranty usually on BM stuff.

When I got my BMCC I looked for an option to register it on the BMD website but didn't find it....

You get the option to register when you log a call on the support page
