Cross Hatching on my BMPCC

Hi there seems to be cross hatching on a flare from one of my shots during sunset yesterday.
Maybe someone here could explain this, thanks

With regard to settings, it was
800asa or maybe 1600.
180 angle
and 7500K

No post processing

Not sure what the F stop was. I was using my adapted 28mm Canon FD so It was pretty closed maybe 2.8 or a bit more open.

I have attached the screen grab. Please note it looks much worse on the ProRes video

I had a similar thing happen once with my BMC. Had a flare and that strange texture appeared in it.

Haven't heard an explanation for it yet though.

With regards to an explanation:

For the grid pattern, we have seen a few reports of this, and product management is currently investigating this. In the cases where this is occurring, we would like to gather a bit more information from you:j
1. Is this visible when the picture is 1:1 or 100% scaled in the preview window?
2. What are the ISO settings?
3. Can you send a sample image, like recorded footage not a screenshot? This can be sent via DropBox or WeTransfer link, etc.
4. What filters if any are you using?

Hi Rob...who will I send the sample image to?
This forum will not let me add a link.

ISO was 1600
No filters, no post and its viewable on the image as it is.

Thanks

Sorry i didn't explain further, this was from a BlackMagic Design customer service rep. So you should send that info to their customer service people.
