BMPCC Banding Issue? New to the issue

PostTue Oct 22, 2013 3:34 pm

Sorry if this was covered before but I'm not familiar with the issue.

I'm including some Still grabs with the lens cap on
Please open the files as they are in full size. When I was recording a late night clip I was getting some horrible mixture of colors on the subject face. Will shoot a small clip tonight to demonstrate.

If you are referring to a horizontal division where the top half is a slightly different shade to the bottom half, its not an issue. It is a result of not having enough light in your scene.

Under proper lighting conditions you will not see this artefact.

I cannot make out this artefact in this shots so perhaps you are referring to something else.
