DaVinci refuses to work on my computer ("Quick Time Decoder initialization failed"...) any plug-ins for Premiere I can use to work on Pro Res footage from the BMPCC?

Just throw it on the timeline and start working, no plugins needed, Premiere has everything it takes.

If you want to go fancy, get Colorista, it's a great tool.

Not required as Premiere includes all the necessary color correction tools but I would strongly recommend Film Convert...it's not a color suite but gives you good looking results fairly quickly.
