Advice please

PostSat Jun 12, 2021 1:21 am

Hello all,
I just shot a memorial service of an artist. I shot it in 4096x2160, 12:1 BRAW. 30 FPS
I’m going to be getting some B-Roll of his art installations around town, going to be testing some handheld with and without off speed frame rate as well as 30p on the tripod.

My question is, should I shoot the art in 12:1 as well?

Thank you,
Ryan Wooten

If your media supports it and detail matters, go for a better version.

Unless you have a creative reason for shooting B-roll handheld, I’d keep all shots with the camera on the tripod; a quality image will honor the artist.
