The lens has a built in doubler, or telephoto extender which can be switched in.
Without the doubler it vignettes from 8-60mm, but is ok from there to 130mm.
With the doubler, there is no vignetting but it loses 2 stops and is a bit softer.
This would apply to any tele extender.
As it is quite a fast lens, the loss of 2 stops is not drastic.
The doubler brings it from f1:1.8 to f1:4
There is still usable focal distance without the doubler from 60-130mm, and it's sharper and faster.
I paid AU$2500 for it 2 years ago and it was about $12,000 new I believe.
It has internal focus, is parfocal and has a fancy digital servo that makes zoom and focus just beautiful to use.
I sold the digital zoom and focus controllers and was trying to sell the lens but couldn't even get a $1000 for it so I decided to keep it to use it with the BMPCC.
My initial tests seem to show it is quite sharp and usable.
It seems to focus best at around f5.6 so only works in a well lit scene.
