Whoever makes the decisions about the distribution of the BMPC should consider that whilst both large and small resellers seem to have fulfilled back orders and are now getting stock on shelves in the US, there are still customers who ordered on 8th April who are being told there are 80-100 cameras ahead of them, and possibly still months to wait in the UK. Can we have a little more balance please.

Whilst I do not begrudge anyone receiving their camera.. Someone from Blackmagic should be considering a fairer method of distribution! Or is this payback to CVP?

To add to that I don't think there were any deliveries to UK retailers this week again.

Why, what have they [CVP] done?
I'm still waiting and seriously worrying that we will have to cancel our order for 4 and buy something else because we need the cameras for teaching before January 6 :(

"Why, what have they [CVP] done?"

What have UK customers done.. to deserve this treatment?

In July when CVP posted to their blog, that there had been no communication from Blackmagic and that customers might be likely to have a long wait for their cameras (similar to the BMCC distribution) there was talk that BM might not treat CVP well because they dared to speculate on late delivery.. Because of the BM silence.

I don't understand the delay.. But it seems that there are real problems with BM and their UK distribution, I wish there was a little more transparency with this company.. But the more I hear of people walking into US suppliers and picking up their cameras, the less I feel inclined to wait.. After thinking ordering on day 1 was a good idea, it has just added to my frustrations with this company!

I feel UK customers are not being treated equally.. Maybe that's just me?

It's not only the UK, it's the whole european union. I always feel my blood pressure rising, when i read "in stock" at american or asian shops while we europeans haven't seen more than a handfull of pocket cams delivered...

But that's goign off topic. I wish the best to all the lucky ones living outside the "old world" who can soon buy the pocket cams in their grocery stores.

Everyone still waiting for their long overdue Pocket should be calmly waiting and then enjoy the price drop!

I'd really like to know what fracture of their production actually goes to europe...
