BMPCC batteries ship,
Preordered BMD branded EN-EL20 compatibile batteries a few days ago from B&H. Shipped today will arrive tomorrow (Friday). B&H still shows shipping from 7 to 14 days.

I know people have been battling with questionable 3rd party batteries and the high price of Nikon EN-EL20 so I thought this might be important.

I ordered a couple sets of these:

They have the same weight as the BM battery and I get about an hour out of them. Battery meter also goes down to about 2%.

There's another thread about batter reports. What I've found is that the QC of some third party brands inconsistent. You'll get some good ones and then some bad ones from the same brand.

I started this current thread because some of us want to buy knowing without a doubt the batteries are "blessed." Blackmagic's batteries, which I understand are made by Nikon, are $15 each and probably QCd to insure consistency.

Blackmagic Batteries have arrived.
Will test.
