As I am adapting some Nikkor lenses to the Pocket Cinema Camera and 2.5K Cinema Camera, I created a little spreadsheet which allows you to enter your SLR or DSLR lens focal lengths, choose 2.5K or Pocket Cinema Camera, and choose Metabones Speedbooster or not.

Basically, the spreadsheet kicks out the 35mm focal length equivalents which gives you a general idea of what the world will look like through a lens when the multiplication factors are applied.

The spreadsheet also kicks out minimum lens image circles for any sensor size (you enter it) so you can better locate lenses for your cameras.

Thanks for doing this. It is really handy.
I am curious why everyone insists on comparing filed of view equivalents to (stills cameras) 35mm equivalent rather than (cinema standard) super 35mm equivalents.
I guess most people are coming from a stills background and that is what they are most used to?
I find it much handier to know my super 35mm equivalents.

If you are inclined to produce a second spreadsheet based on those calculations I am sure many would find it equally if not more handy.

I also found a very good tool for use with IPhone/IPad. It is "pCAM Film+Digital Calculator", gives exposure, distance, field of view and format comparisons. You select BMCC or BMPCC, then the camera/format, includes all Cine formats, to compare it to. You can then match lens FoV when using Pocket as B cam.
Great tool, very handy.

Great tool, very handy.

I use that as well and created custom settings for the pocket camera and cinema camera with the speedbooster. But I don't always carry my iphone around when I am shooting so this would be handy to have printed out...particularly if it was super 35mm equivalents. I suppose I can go in and figure out the formulas...
