Movie Machine is running a Digital Cinema Event in Leicester Square, in the heart of London, Dec. 4 of this year.

Enter this worldwide digital cinema festival online, upload your movie, and you will be in the running to have your digital film shown on the big screen in Leicester Square London, and also to win a Blackmagic Cinema Camera (EF or MFT) courtesy of Holdan UK.

The rules are simple:

* Enter a movie which runs between 1 and 5 minutes

* You choose the camera, the style and the subject

* Produce the film with “cinema” in mind

* Entries must be in no later than November 26

First prize is a Blackmagic Cinema Camera (EF or MFT). Winners will be announced at the Movie Machine Digital Cinema Festival, in London, the evening of Dec. 4. You do not have to attend the event to win.

So dig through your achive, or pick up a camera and start shooting, and get your entries in to the Movie Machine Digital Cinema Festival.

You can register to attend the event in Leicester Square on the evening of Dec. 4, regardless of whether you have entered a film or not. We will be showing a lot of footage from different cameras on the fullsize cinema screen, including footage from the Blackmagic Cinema Camera, Blackmagic Pocket Camera, RED Epic, Sony F3, Sony F5, big sensor Canon cameras and whatever else we can line up for the night.
