Rode Videomic Pro Problems

PostSun Oct 27, 2013 6:30 pm

I have the Blackmagic Cinema Camera 2.5k and I'm trying to record with a Rode Videomic Pro. I have the proper adapter for the mic but every time I try to record, the audio is either inaudible or non existent at all. I've tried messing around with the settings on the camera, I feel as though I have tried every combination of things but they just don't work. I also have the +20 db option on the mic. Please respond as soon as possible. Thanks for the help.

Chancewash,

I own the Pocket cam and a Rode Stereo and here's how I use them. I set the camera's input to Mic and the camera's microphone input at 0%. I set the Rode to +20. I'm not certain the same would work on the larger BM camera, but give it a try.
