Focus Assistant on Pocket

PostWed Oct 30, 2013 12:43 pm

Is there a Focus assistant on the Pocket like the one that is on its big bro so that you can easily see what is in focus? I'm having a hard time telling what is in focus without a monitor attached.

Perhaps it is there and I'm just missing where it is located. I would have thought the focus button would turn it on but it doesn't. That brings up some kind of autofocus feature which is not what I want.
To comply with Blackmagic's forum rules, I must disclose that my real name is "Mitchell Forst".

If your using a MFT lens you need to press the Focus button twice. If you using manual lens just press the focus button to turn on focus assist

Pressing twice means "twice really fast" :-)

This brings up the focus peaking, which I think works great!

Two clicks on the OK button zooms in on the center (not moveable and no indicator that you are zoomed in, so don't forget).

And yes, in both cases the double clicks have to be VERY fast.
