New BMPCC4K Running Hot?

I apologize if this has been asked and answered before but I cannot seem to find it on the forum. Just took some test footage with my BMPCC4K out of the box with AC power and noticed the camera body, specifically at the bottom, feels unusually warm in my hands. I am shooting Apple ProRes HQ UHD 23.97 fps with screen brightness set to 100%. Is this normal for it to run so warm?

For example, it's normal for a Pocket 4K camera to get somewhat warm when recording 4K while charging an internal battery, when powered from its external AC adapter.

Thank you for your response. I have no battery contained therein. Just AC power,.

That's why there is a FAN inside the camera. Lets the air run free from top to the bottom.
