Image stabilization options

PostSun Nov 03, 2013 9:01 pm

What are the options for Pocket with and without speedbooster?

BMCC with EF mount is one option of course to get IS since I could use Canon EF glass, but the price of Pocket is half and for that reason it's better option :p I could always sell the Davinci Resolve that I get with BMCC to lower the price, but I doubt one can get over 300€ from that software so BMCC would still cost about 1700€ vs Pocket which is a bit under 1000€.

At the moment there are only a few IS lenses available to use with the Pocket CC, because although it has an "active" m4/3 mount this doesn't mean that all m4/3 features are supported. Especially the camera is not able to turn IS on or off electronically, so you need to look for lenses that have a physical on/off switch for the IS.
