Based on what BM has done with the new studio cameras I have a suggestion for their cinema line.
Include USB4 ports near the lens Mount to provide a range of programmable features!
As the post title suggest my main suggestion would be a feed for an autofocus protocol that could be made compatible with 3rd party lens motors.
I often see the main objection for BM to develop autofocus is that compatibility with 3rd party lenses but I don’t think they should bother, should be cine lens only via motors.
If the protocol was open source it could even become a standard
