Hi, i just bought new BMPCC 6K, tried to turn it on. When languages appeared, i choose English and then blank screen and nothing else. I plugged it into electricity with cable from pack, waited and tried to turned it on again, but obly blank screen again. I dont know what to do. Please help.

Assuming the power cable was connected properly and you’re not connected to other devices, you should advise your retailer who hopefully will offer you an exchange.

Hi Rick, thanks for answer. I connected it to AC. Turned it on (with blank screen), connected it with USB to mac and updated firmware and out of nowhere it works perfect! (fingers crossed ). I hope this was solution.

Is the light beside the switch green?
Have you tried to use a HDMI monitor? See if you get a picture.

If this is the case then you have to return it.

Also take out the battery and wait for 12 hours. of the screen comes on then the camera is working but you have a faulty screen. Please get it replaced.

If you can get the screen to work it will only work for a few minutes so quickly navigate to Bluetooth and turn it on. Then you can control the camera settings and use the HDMI monitor to see what you are shooting.

Maybe someone has already encountered this problem: power socket stopped working on BMPCC 6K.
It worked well with an AC adapter and also with NP-F battery via the power cord.
And now it doesn't work at all.
The camera continues to operate with battery or fake battery with NP-F,
but the powers socket looks dead.

I would be grateful for any info.
