No device detected

Trying to update the firmware on my BMPCC 4k… PC isn’t finding the camera.
Tried 2 different PCs… one with USB 3s, the other with USB 2s.
USB to USB lead tested on other devices and working fine.
No peripherals attached. Running on AC power (have tried full battery too).
Totally at a loss. Can anyone help?

Hi! I would just say that it's not detecting because your new firmware has no new features for the pocket 4k try install 5.2 maby - I have heard that it is working on fixing the connection issues.
Older cameras updated through the USB port (the original pocket has a USB port in the battery compartment specifically for updating the firmware). My guess is nothing will show up until you install the Blackmagic update utility on your computer.

Have you tried with different cable? Often the cable is the main reason of not working update.
actually i use amazon basic cable usb-c to usb A, which work fine also with atem mini.
that work fine with both 4k and 6k.

Thanks guys. I resolved the problem by purchasing the best quality lead I could find.
