BMPCC6K Pro used for Music Video

PostThu Apr 28, 2022 3:50 pm

A music video I shot just launched where we used the p6k pro as A cam, though it got built up more than initially planned so it wasn't as nimble as we thought. This was shot in the summer on 2 hot 90+ days and the camera held up great!

BMP6K Pro with Loawa OOOM
1/16 Formatt Hitech Black super mist

(Used the R5 and a canon GL1 for the supplementary footage)

Let me know your thoughts!

Nice grade and colour. The PIP is so overused these days but it really works for this music video, not just a gimmick.

How did you find the OOOM and its weight? I need a damn new tripod for this beast and start hitting the gym even for rocking it on the shoulder (using it as PL on the UMP12K).

That really was a lot of fun to watch and listen too! Thank you.

The PIP really did work for that video.

Were you using an EasyRig for the shoot?

That there was some fine mad editing skills!
Loved the edit where many different boarders flowed into the same continuous move from right to left.

Would appreciate seeing a screen shot of the timeline.

Amazing job! The band should be mindfucked. Just 700 views... f***...

The supermist 1/16 it's so subtle and feels so right. Did you try with the 1/8? Was it kinda too much in sunlight?

How do you go in cloudy lighting situations? One stop more of super mist strength?

On the other hand, it feels like the Formatt black super mist numbers are not leveled the same way as the Tiffen black pro mist. The Formatt 1/16 feels like the Tiffen 1/8, right?

Congrats, I loved it.
