This is misleading advertising:
- These are not "quality cine zooms", but low-quality, low-resolution, low-cost CCTV lenses made for surveillance cameras
- None of them covers the image circle of any Blackmagic camera - they will all heavily vignette.

Administrators: Please remove this user from the forum for misconduct. His use of a pseudonym is against forum rules anyway.

(And: no, I do not have "a total lack of knowledge of these lenses" but know exactly what I am writing about because I do own them myself. The advertising borders to fraud.)

PS, these so called "low-quality, low-resolution, low-cost CCTV lenses" can't be that bad considering they get snapped up pretty quick my friend.

Fraud.....bahahaha

Pseudonym? bahahaha Paragram not your real name then?

Have a lovely day.

Pretty bold statement., actually some of them are - image quality wise - in the same league like an Angenieux. A lot of c-mount glass was made for 16mm cinema and TV.

The Canon 17-102 I have, works without vignetting on the Pocket and with a hair of vignetting even on the BMC.

Yes, Frank, quite a few of them are OK, but the Canons need to have "V" or "TV-16" in front of the name, the Fujis a "C". The two lenses advertised here don't fall into that category and they will not only show pronounced vignetting, but pretty soft corners too.

If you can grab them cheap and like the look, why not? Or if you want to crop to CS, they might be acceptable.

But I second that the OP is very close to false advertising.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.

Sorry but you are wrong. I suggest you get on with your own life and stop interfering with what others are trying to do. Maybe next time you and paradigm are trying to sell things I do hope some troll comes your way and p*sses all over your ads mate. Shalom

PS these are NOT B4 lenses! Take a chill pill.
