Tokina 11-20 on Pocket 4K with Metabones EF .71

Hi guys,

I want to get the Tokina 11-20 Canon EF version for my Pocket 4K, using Metabones EF .71 Speedbooster.

I’m a little confused, some listings say it’s EF mount while others say it’s EF-S. So my question is, will this lens work with my Metabones EF .71 booster without need for any modification?

Yes. The ef -s mount is only used by Canon (tm) lenses that cover aps-c. Some reviewers (confusingly) refer to ALL ef lenses that only cover aps-c as ef-s lenses, but all third party lenses (Tokina, Sigma, Tamron) use an ef mount.

Perfect, thank you. I ordered a used version of this lens, so good to know it will work with my Metabones EF. I’ve heard it looks good on the P4K, super contrast-y which I like. Cheers!

11-20 is the same as the 11-16 in EF
