Nexus TAB as a field monitor….Close?

PostSat Dec 14, 2013 12:28 pm

HI
I have a nexus 7 tab and looking to use it as a monitor for BMCC and BMPCC.
I CAN easily connect my Canons DSLR all via USB and have complete control over them via USB and use the Tab as a field monitor. amazing!

Trying to work out how to get HDMI/SDI from BM into the tablet…..adaptors, convertors, etc?

Frustrated that the Canon works with a £20 USB Otg lead and £9 software.

Any thoughts…..????

I wish I could use my Galaxy S4 Nexus as an EVF.

It leaves the retina screen of my Cineroid for dead.

The only way I'm aware of is using some WiFi broadcasting unit, such as Teradek VidiU. There is an Android app specifically made for viewing the video stream. However, for the same price you can get a decent EVF or 7'' field monitor.
