URSA Mini Recorder Card Access
Over in another thread on this forum, I talked about the MultiDock 10G and its inability to read SSDs recommended by Blackmagic. Well, that created a problem for me as I shot an equestrian event on the UMR using the incompatible SSD, and could not access the data on the SSD.
I went out and purchased a USB4 cable to connect the UMR to my Surface Book 3. I tried lots of cables I had lying around, but very few cables would allow me to see the files on the UMR, let alone move them to the computer.
The new USB4 cable allowed me to transfer the files on the SSD (while mounted in the UMR) to my computer at ~750MB/sec. Long story short, I have a workaround to the inability of the MD10G to read some SSDs.
