Hello!! how's it going? could someone help me with this problem?

I bought an SSD(SAndisk Extreme/SAmsung T5) and after connecting it and noticing that it doesn't work (I thought it was the fault of the ssd) and connecting it to the pc to do my first firmware update, I discover that the usb port doesn't work. I have tried with several cables, other pc's and the trick of turning on while pressing the focus button and nothing. I need to use it for work reasons, I appreciate the help!

Does the computer ‘see’ the camera when connected?
You are able to use cards inside the camera?

Hello!! thanks for answering. If the camera works but it is not recognized neither by the SSD nor by the computer, therefore I cannot record or update the firmware. The message on the computer is "No Camera or Accessory found"

If anyone knows a way to solve this without having to send it for repair I would appreciate it since I need it soon for some filming

If you have a shoot scheduled in the very near future, can you quickly buy an approved CFast2 or SDXC UHS-II card so you can record your shoot? What camera are you using and what is the current firmware on the camera?

I second that, it looks like your USB port needs repair.

Hello, Thank you very much for writing! At the moment using SDXC UHS-II (Thanks) is a solution but my biggest problem is spending a lot of time without a camera to take it to be repaired

It is a BMPCC 4K and the firmware is 7.3.

The solution that blackmagic technical support offered me is that I send it to repair

The first time I tried to update my P4K when I got it was that none of the usb cables I had could transfer data only power. Maybe that is your issue?

Hi, thanks for write!! I honestly don't know, since I used several usb c cables from SSDs and bought cables from amazon but nothing. I finally sent it in for warranty repair.

I have the pocket 6k
I have manage to upload the firmware now but there seems to be a bit of a pro with the USB portals I have tried many different type c cables and sometimes it works and other times it won’t. I also have a problem with the Samsung t5 1tb ssd it only records at the lowest bit rate 12.1 and only at 4K or 8.1 at 2.5k why might this be
