I'm using an URSA Broadcast G2 with the onboard SSD recorder. It will record for about 3 to 5 minutes before locking the camera up completely. Odd thing is, the timecode still rolls, so you would think you are still recording, but you are not.
Initially, I suspected the wire, so I swapped the factory lockable USB-S cable with one I had in my office. This fixed the problem, so BMD sent me a new wire. The new wire didn't fix the issue.
Since I could, I swapped the SSD recorder with a new unit. This did not solve the issue.
I still suspect some sort of wire issue, as using a longer cable doesn't recreate the issue.
Has anyone experienced this problem?
