BMC 6k Pro doesn't recognize my Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS II

I bought recently a BMC 6k Pro but unfortunately my Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS II is not being recognized by BMC. :|

I updated to firmware to 7.9 but still the same.

Btw, my other lens 16-35mm f 2.8 works perfectly!

Anyone knows what could be that issue?

Thank you!

Thank you Carlo!

The strange thing is that this lens works perfectly with sigma adaptor on Sony a7III.. and in other Canons cameras..

I clean the lens contact.. but still the same...

I'll check with other 70-200mm..

Do you know if is it possible to upgrade the lens firmware some way?

Thank you!

I know that you can do by canon body, but I never did it.
My lens is quite older, I bought it for my bmpc4k in 2015, and I never update firmware (if exist).
Dumb question: have you tried to downgrade 6k pro to early firmware to see if is a recent problems?
