Hey everyone,

Here is a selection of shots taken with the Great Joy 35mm 1.8x anamorphic on the BMPCC6K & 6K Pro.

This was my second time shooting anamorphic and again I really enjoyed the experience!
For this test footage I wanted to try the lens in different situations when compared to testing the 50mm.
Since this one is wider I decided to shoot more landscape content, indoor as well as general travel type and personal footage.

This time around I shot with both the 6K rigged up and the 6K Pro as is.

Filmed on the BMPCC 6K & 6K PRO, in 6K BRAW. Mostly between T2.9 and T5.6.
(Original x1.8 desqueeze ratio)

Stay tuned for the review!

Let me know if you have any questions :).

Cheers,
Flo

Great Joy! (pun intended).

Can I have your lens?

Kidding aside. How's the squeeze vs the 50mm? Constant?

Good work!

Haha, thanks!!
I haven't noticed any issues so far which is great! Definitely an improvement over the 50mm :)

Looks incredible. My wallet is already crying.

Seriously though, I think the Great Joy 1.8x anamorphics are going to be very popular with BM users. The Laowa Nanomorphs are also going to be big because of their relative size and weight advantages, but now Great Joy have fixed the inconsistent squeeze factor of the 50mm with this release, I could easily see these being used on indie productions where a heavier camera rig is not a big deal.

I love my 50mm so much I'd actually consider buying a V2 with consistent squeeze.

Thanks Chris!
And I agree, they are pretty solid for the price. That 35mm is very nice :)

Truly stunning !

The best filmic look and feel / footage I have ever seen coming from the any BMD camera, let alone BMPCC6K !

This is Hollywood stuff, well done !

   BMD Team , post this clip on your official page to promote BMPCC6K !

For those who didn't sign up to the early notice system, the Indiegogo for this apparently launches next Tuesday at 10am EDT.

It also sounds like there will be a discounted bundle with both the 35mm and 50mm, though personally I'd wait for a V2 of the 50mm where the inconsistent squeeze factor is fixed.
