BMPCC cameras with Tentacle sync and microphones

Does anyone know if:

1: For the BMPCC 4K can a Tentacle Sync be plugged into the 1/4" sync port with the two internal microphones activated. Will this configuration record audio (1 or 2 channels) and timecode.

2: For the BMPCC 6K pro can a Tentacle Sync be plugged into the 1/4" sync port with the camera set to record external (xlr) with phantom power. Wii this configuration record both audio and timecode.

I don't want to fry things by asking the camera to do things it is not designed to and the operation manual is not clear to me regarding these configurations.

Yes, this does work. I am using the same config (PCC4k with Tentacle Sync)

Yes!!! Thank you! I have a shoot coming up with three lavs, one ambiance mic, and one roving camera. Being able to use one of the pocket cameras for an ambiance mic will be an immense help decreasing the amount of equipment.
