Broadcast G2 Randomly Stops Recording

Blackmagic g2, latest firmware from Blackmagic and using approved anglbird coast cards 512GB.

It randomly stops recording sometimes... I've had it on 3 cams now, and currently I take the card, move it to slot 2 and if absolutely fine..

Very bizarre. The same camera with the same settings and same card was absolutely fine the next day.

Any suggestions? Is it worth a downgrade? What should I downgrade to?

Many thanks,

I would take it back and get a replacement.

What codec and frame rate are you recording and with what kind of shots on what lens?

What firmware are they on? And what length of shot are you taking locked - I presume very long ones? If it's happened on 3 cameras, have you tried a different make and format of media (SD/USB C drive), notwithstanding the AngelBird CF(?) cards are approved? H.265@ 4K 50fps (SDI 4:2:2 ?), although small in bandwidth, I suspect is quite computationally intensive for these cameras, as it is for any cpu, and therefore heat generating, which may lead to the cameras stopping recording on very long takes, but that's conjecture on my part.
