I need to run the Promptsmart voice activated app on an ipad and don't want to rely on the ipads internal mics.

I will be using wireless mics and was wondering if I can just put a splitter in the Headphone out on the P4K and route the split signal to my headphones and the ipad mic input (via lighting connector).

it might work, but you would need to turn down the microphone input signal on the iPad.
