On my 6K Pro I have a viewfinder and in the menu I did set the auto dim function for the LCD screen to ON after 1 minute. But the screen does not dim in any circumstance. Not when I put my eye on the EVF nor automatically after 1 minute. It does blink when I put my eye on the EVF. That;s all. The screen gets quite hot and it takes a lot of battery power. Also when I put the screen brightness to very low, it doesn't do that.

I’d recommend calling BMD Support.

First though it might be helpful to reset the camera and if that does not help, try to update the camera firmware with the latest version applicable to the camera. If there is firmware on the EVF, update that firmware too.
