Shipping BMCC back to Blackmagic?

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone had any preferences or insight into shipping the Cinema Camera back into blackmagic for repair/calibration. I've got that rolling banding thing going on and am trying to decide which carrier to ship it with. Also I've seen an option to list the value of the package in their option but am getting mixed info on wether or not this is actually insurance.

It depends on the country you live in. When you contact support for your RMA, they'll have you fill out some information before you receive the shipping details.

when I spoke with tech support they simply gave me a shipping label (Fed ex in my case, but I'm only a few hours from them) put it on the box and dropped it at a fed ex office.
