Ursa Mini Recorder USB-C cable

PostTue Nov 22, 2022 11:10 am

Hi everyone,

We recently damaged the USB-C cable that came with our Ursa Mini Recorder.

We need to replace it but it isn't on sale on the Blackmagic website on its own. Does anyone know anywhere we can find it? We want to buy the Blackmagic cable, rather than a third-party one, to ensure the cable is up to the bitrate and we have no footage corruption.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Any quality cable will do.
I have seen bad cables from BM, where the camera became reliable after buying another one.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.

If you want to buy the BM cable, call your local BM support department and ask if they will sell you the cable. Otherwise I would go with the Kondor Blue or Angelbird USB-c cables. They are pretty reliable.
