I make my own BMCC shield

It will look nicer if i can find a clear sticker
I hope some company will make a nicer/professional shield for the BMCC too

Not sure I see the point of this, not to mention that because the metal body acts as a giant heat-sink for the cooling system, wrapping it up in plastic might not be a great idea.

what is the material you are covering the chassis with and the black material protecting from scratches around the 1/4 20 mount screws?

it's the sticker that i bought from a car accessories shop. Some poeple like to use it to wrap lens cap and camera...
Don't know how bad it trap the heat

I agree with Tom, the metal body gets hot and helps to disperse heat from the insides. Covering it in plastic would prevent heat loss. Much like a layer of dust on the RAM's heatsink modules in your computer.
