BMMCC Zebras Not Appearing

Hey guys,

So I was playing around some settings in the BMMCC, mainly setting it at different ISOs, and Film vs video in monitoring and when we went to shoot something our zebras won’t show up anymore. Instead, we can expose until we get a blown out image but the zebras never appear (unless I go up to ISO 1600).

Does anyone know what is causing this? Does this sound familiar?

The luminance is distributed differently depending upon the shooting ISO.

200 ISO clips at ~80
400 ISO clips at ~90
800 ISO clips at ~100
1600 ISO clips at ~104+

If you’re just using zebras to protect against clipping it’s best to drop 5%, for example set zebras to 95% if shooting 800, 85 shooting 400 etc.,

I feel like I switched it back to 800 ISO and still didn’t see them the way I was before, which is what got me nervous, but I will try playing with the level/intensity of the zebras tonight when I get home.
