BMPCC Speaker Noise in Playback Mode when not playing back ?

PostTue Jan 21, 2014 11:42 pm

Today, I realized this strange behaviour on my BMPCC:

When going into Playback Mode by hitting the Play Button, the camera turns on the speaker and plays back my videos from the card as desired. My speaker is on and set to 100%, the recorded sound is audible.

When hitting the Playback Button again, playback stops as desired, but the speaker noise is still audible (hissing, not like the recorded internal processing sound noise and not the recordes sound, just the typical low quality amp hissing!) and does not stop until going back into record mode by hitting the Record Button, again.

Setting down the speaker volume does not work in real-time and manifests itself after powering the camera off and on again.

Does anybody have a similar behaviour on the BMPCC ?
