Zeiss jena 135 & CZJ 70-300 infinity problem

My carl zeiss jena 135 hits infinity and is sharper than my zeiss glass but using adapter my CZJ 70-300 won't hit infinity. I know it is not a stella lens but is this something i can adjust or does it need to go to camera shop.
swapping adapters gets same result other lenses hit infinity but not the 70-300. Is it back focus ??
