Using ultrascopes with BMCC

PostFri Jan 31, 2014 9:02 am

hi all,

very newbeee question and not sure if this is the right place for it, but i was wondering what the proper exposure i should be looking to get on ultrascopes when shooting with the BMCC. I am going to try to do some green screen work to test out the camera and learn proper lighting with an arri D2 softbank kit but am looking for advise on maybe which sites or books i should read in regards to getting proper exposure. i read that i should set zebras to 100% and shoot just under that threshold but i was wondering is there anything else i should be looking for in the parade or histogram scopes. i realize this is a pretty broad question and that it probably wont have a direct answer but after seeing alot of the amazing shots people have gotten on this forum i figure its worth a shot asking so i can get a head start

thanks
