Sandisk Extreme II 240GB

Exact Model: SanDisk Extreme II SDSSDXP-240G-G25 2.5" 240GB

I am looking at purchasing this drive. I know it is now on the official list but the older version is (I have the older 480GB).

Anyone have it? Work ok? Any issues?

You might have issues because it is the wrong size, but a spacer adapter might help.

Only get SSD's which are currently on the recommended list.

hey,

no problems so far , even on hot plug, when you use that. firmware update also perfect.

the spacer comes with the package. you just put it on the upper side, cause downside you got the wholes to screw it.

I can't seem to find the original one and don't trust another brand at this point. I had intel's fail on me causing me to lose footage.

Anyone else have this this new version?

I have the 480 Gb version of the Extreme II. Works fine for me. But, I had to update my BMCC firmware from a really old version (1.3 or so) to get it to work. See the SSD thread for more details. Since it isn't on the approved list, I would not be surprised to hear people who say it doesn't work for them.
